Barry R. Shone

I spent twenty nine and a half years with Allegheny/Usairways in various management positions, serving in Philadelphia, Providence, R.I., Minneapolis St. Paul, Chicago Illinois, and ending up in Tampa, Fl, in 1978. After Retirement, I Coached College Baseball at the University of Tampa from 1998-2004 during this time we won two National Championships for Division Two NCAA. I currently am employed by Enterprise RAC as a Part Time Driver working twenty hours a week.

Graduated from MHS Class of 1961, Attended Johnson and Wales In Providence Rhode Island, evening division while working full time for Allegheny Airlines. Achieved a Masters Degree from Wellsley College, studying in Transportation Management a three year course inb 1984. As a basketball manager my Junior year I was given the duty of taking Bill Laubenstein to therapy after practice in my 1946 Ford, nicknamed "the turtle".
