Ted was a great guy. I could be wrong about this, but I remember when we started 9th grade and football practice was in progress, a rumor started circulating that a 9th grader from Maple Shade was going to start for the varsity at middle linebacker. That was unprecedented at the time. It was Ted, and what a football player he was. My youngesst daughter, Kori, graduated from MHS in 2004. One of her classmates was Rachel Pinkston who was Ted's niece. Kori and Rachael were in Madrigals together and whenever I saw Rachel i reminded her that her uncle Ted and I were in the same class in high school and what a great athlete he was. I am so sorry to hear of his passing.
An admirable competitor, teammate and friend. Ted make his presence known in many ways. Who can forget the reunion when he burst through the door with his new bride!
So sorry to hear about Ted. He was such a cool guy. Will never forget the time he and I walked from his house on Gradwell Ave in Maple Shade to the Pennsauken Mart. We were in 7th grade at the time. I borrowed $2 from him to buy a friendship ring for a girl at school. Can't remember if I ever paid the $2 back. He was the best. Rest in Peace, Ted.
Teddy and I were teammates starting when we were 15 and then on Moorestown's central league champs our senior year. He was a great guy and good friend. My condolences to the family and may he rest in peace.
I ran into Teddy about 6 years after graduation at a carnival. I was there with my daughter and a friend, Jimmy Ward, who also knew Teddy. I had been watching the guys who rode around defying gravity on the sides of a huge barrel on motorcycles. He asked if we had seen that, and then said, "Did you know that if you ask the guys that do it, they will let you ride around in it?"

He had obviously had a lot of fun doing it.
It was so typically Teddy.
His death hit me harder than I thought it would.
