Edward W. Gresch

Edward W. Gresch, Sr., 70, of Aiken, SC, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2013 at Masonic Village in Elizabethtown, PA. He is survived by his beloved wife Patricia; daughter Susan Schliminger; son Edward (Colleen); sister Judy Hannan (Bob); and grandchildren Eddie and Stevie. He was born and raised in Southern NJ and graduated from Moorestown High School. Ed went to school to learn about the exciting new computer industry in the early 1970's. He went on to have a very successful professional career primarily in the Christmas decorations business, including time spent as company president. Ed enjoyed investing, reading, playing pool and softball, spending time with his grand dog Piper and spending vacations in Ocean City with his children and grandchildren. Upon retiring, Ed and Pat lived in Kiawah Island, SC and Aiken, SC where they spent their time making new friends, traveling the world, and perfecting the game of golf. Ed was champion of his local golf club in 2007. A private service for immediate family will be held on Friday, January 3rd in Elizabethtown, PA. A celebration of Ed's life will be held in New Jersey at a future date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to either the Salvation Army or an animal charity of your choice.
