Comments:

In private practice, I've counseled families, individuals, and couples for over 30 years; and seen many miracles in people's lives. In another job, as director of a local crisis pregnancy center for 14 years I also had the privilege of seeing people's lives changed.

For several years I wrote a weekly column in a local newspaper called "On the Human Side."
Our family has enjoyed skiing (out west & New England), boating and other sports together. I still love music & enjoy playing piano, guitar and whatever else I can find to play, especially bridge. twelve years ago I began to learn to play the violin. (This is a difficult task for an older person.:)

We have stayed in the area and once again moved back to Moorestown 24 years ago. Contrary to popular belief we seldom run into classmates. When we do it's always a wonderful surprise.

Our children and their kids all live within a 10 mile radius. This is really a blessing.

We've spent many summers on our boat at the Skip Jack, in the Sassafras River on the Chesapeake Bay. Currently we enjoy our wonderful house in Ocean City, very near the beach. All the kids love to congregate there for some reason.

School Story:

Actually, having jumped back and forth from Friends' School to public school, I have many great stories.

I remember in Mrs. Reamer's second grade when
David Blyler stepped on the pet praying mantis, killing it splat in the middle of the aisle between the desks. That was against the law. We didn't know what would happen to him for doing that.
I guess they never caught up with him.

I remember in Miss Tracy's algebra class how she
never could quite manage to find any chalk. Why
was that? Then there were the hidden black board erasers in the trash can under all that paper.

I remember fun swimming parties at Leroy's...and
when Graham Loni (from Scottland) got sent home
during the senior finals because he had Bermuda shorts on. He was incredulous...Did they let him graduate?

Cassandra,

You certainly have many children, grandchildren and even a great grandchild who will be remembering their beloved grandmom. We hope that they will be blessed while celebrating you and all that you mean to them when they come together in your honor and memory.

Sincerely,

Judy Taylor MacMillan

Peter, you left this world with several wonderful creations that you made in largesse.

One place that others probably would recall would be the huge rendition of a yellow airplane on the side of a travel agency, on route 70, in Cherry Hill, across from Barclay Farms and a Presbyterian Church. That life-size plane was created and painted by Peter!! How many times have all of our classmates driven by that huge plane and wondered at its presence?  I never had known until our 50th reunion. Just a few years later it was torn down and gone.

The peach on the water tower is also a brave assualt against gravity. This gorgeous peach was re-painted again with Peter at the helm, only a few years ago. Still it survives as a magnificent replica and a gorgeous peach of a painting!!

Peter, you and Stephanie are two extremely fascinating and fun people whom Bob and I have been blessed to know. Thank you for your wonderful times with our spouses in the museum in NY, in the rain, the Broadway play in NYC, the fun and wonderful dinners you made and the walks in the mountains near your summer home Ashville, which will live on in our hearts for ever.

Judy

I thought of you on Tuesday when I met the neice of Bob Dugan from the P.O, We had a good chat. Cannot believe you live nearby and we have not come across each other. Maybe we will now. Lots of good memories of your dad and you and your mom too, of course. I often wish your dad was still Post Master. :)

How is George? Have you heard? I have not.

We watched your submarine tour with Kirk Douglass and his wife. Bob and I enjoyed the whole video and loved talking with you over FaceTime at the reunion. We hope your surgery went very well and that your healing will be complete very soon. We are all pulling for you!

Well, hi, Anyce...we go way back to the 5th grade at Friends' School. I find it hard to believe we are so far down the road now...I have many fond memories of those days and the times we spent at each others' homes, etc. Then high school at MHS...

How about that day shopping with each of us with our firstborn sons in their respective baby buggies!!! I remember it well.

Hope your retirement is going great...enjoy your kayaking and bowling, and all this beautiful weather this fall.

Oops, I see that you just got a lot older... you must be 77! Congratulations! I think you can be a year younger now that this website skipped your birthday. Hope it was wonderful!!

Hi, Eileen, I hope you got this far. I haven't logged on in ages either. How are you? I am so sorry that you lost your husband.Your marriage of 43 years speaks well for you both. It must be so different now. I will keep you in my prayers.

I cannot believe you have 6 kids. I would love to catch up with you. We still live in Moorestown. Where do you live now?Are you in Webster, NY? I don't know where that is, but I do look forward to hearing from you.
Love, Judy

Hey there, Toni,
I am so glad to see your profile and see what you have been doing all these years! Can it really be so long? I missed seeing you at our reunion. It was mostly just as though no time had passed. Only the years did reveal themselves when we had to read name tags in order to recognize a face! I have thought of you over the years and wondered if you actually were in a job where you used logarithms or not (like me). I am an LPC (licensed professional counselor). I do not use math in sessions ( although it might be fun).

it looks like you had mostly girls first, then mostly boy grandchildren. Similarly, we, (Bob MacMillan is my hubby, class of '60), similarly, had 4 boys and 1 girl, then 4 granddaughters and 1 grandson...Such fun... all those "various activities," can really fill your calendar, but those kids are each so precious.

Let me hear from you! What do you do at St Andrews? Anything exciting? It sounds like you have a great time antiquing. I just took up the violin about 4 years ago. Now that is really a challenge.

So glad to hear from you after all these years.

Blessings,
Judy
